Astronomers have confirmed that they have found a planet which contains liquid water.Close observation of the planet GJ1214b as it passes in front of it's star has made it possible for scientists to analyze the light as it passes through the planets atmosphere. The planets atmosphere is a dense mist and the plant itself is covered with a large mass of water.
Don't pack your bags yet,the planet orbits very close to it's "Red Dwarf" star and temps are assumed to reach well over 200 degrees F. The pressure of the planet is very high as well,and scientist believe that there are many exotic formations there like "hot ice"and "super fluid water",due to the combination of these high pressures and intense heat.
The planet is being called a"Super Earth" due to it's size,which is 2.7 times larger than our earth.It's relatively close to our solar system so further studies have been scheduled to follow up on the discovery.
